Add Real Bank Accounts to Your App This Weekend
Transcript
You can give every user in your app a real FDIC-insured bank account — no bank charter, no sponsor bank negotiation, in three Stripe API calls. Most founders assume embedded banking means six months of compliance work and a deal with Cross River or Evolve. Stripe Treasury handles those relationships so you never have to. You just call the API. Three calls: create a connected account for the user, create a financial account under it, fund it via ACH. Your user gets real routing and account numbers they can use anywhere. You get webhooks on every transaction. The only catch: you need Stripe Connect already configured, and Treasury has a separate approval step. But if you're already on Connect, the actual API work is an afternoon. This is how fintech startups are launching bank accounts without a banking license. Link in bio for the Treasury quickstart.
