Cloudflare Now Proves Your AI Agent's Identity at Checkout
Transcript
Right now, when your agent makes a purchase, the merchant can't tell if it's your real agent or a bot spoofing it. Cloudflare just fixed that — every payment request your agent sends gets a cryptographic signature. Here's the agent side using Cloudflare's Agents SDK: AgentClient — agent ID, private key. client.purchase — URL, body, signature attached automatically per Web Bot Auth spec. The merchant calls Cloudflare to verify the signature. If it fails, the payment is rejected before it hits your payment processor. No human review, no manual fraud queue. This is live now. Visa built Trusted Agent Protocol on top of it. Mastercard integrated Web Bot Auth into Agent Pay. American Express is on the list too. If your agent is sending unsigned HTTP requests to merchants, you're already behind. Start signing today. Docs at Cloudflare Agents SDK. Link in bio.
